Around Us

Do you know you can determine your own destiny? You may be rolling your eyes or laughing at that thought, but it is true. Every day you lay the framework for your future.  Your thoughts and your actions determine your future. That does not mean if you are sad and/or depressed you are going to be that way for a long time. You CAN change your future! The first thing you need to change is your thoughts.  This can take time. You have to focus on the positive. Sure things happen in life that are not ideal or good, but we have to let those things of a negative nature go whenever possible. Some things are small and can easily be let go. This would include things like spilling a beverage, temporarily misplacing an object, or even someone making a nasty remark toward you.  These are things that do not have to be a large impact in your life. Yes nasty remarks can be hurtful, but at the end of the day, the only person’s opinion of you that matters is yours. Let negative opinions of others go. Now for large things like being betrayed or hurt by someone you care about (romantic partner, family member, or someone you thought was a friend), a car accident that has changed your quality of life, or another traumatic event, these can be harder to let go.  With larger negative events, the best thing to do is figure out the lesson you are supposed to learn from it, apply the lesson to your life, thank the Universe for the growth opportunity, and release it. The Angels want to remind you that when you decide what you want, mediate about it, and take action as Divinely guided, you can have it!  Use the law of attraction to work for you and call what you want to you.  When you set your intention and visualize what you want and how it feels to accomplish what you want and then take appropriate action, the Divine will bless you with your desires.  When asking for something, I try to end my request with "or something better".  We have fantastic dreams and desires, but if we don't limit the power of the Divine, we can get so much more than we ever thought possible.  This goes for career, homes, work, romance, finances, anything.  The new moon is May 15th, so use this time to help manifest what you want by meditating on your desires.  The Angels are waiting to bless you!

Crystal Corner

Goldstone is an orangey reddish brown with shimmering specks in it.  Goldstone is a good protective stone as it helps to deflect negative energy.  It is also good for stimulating the nervous system and is good for renewing physical strength.  It is a good stone for energy healers to use as it enhances the transmission of energy through the hands.
